How to request deletion
- Email edusync-testing.dean892@simplelogin.com with subject
Account deletion.
- Include the email address you signed up with.
- You will receive a confirmation reply within 3 business days.
- Account and associated data are deleted within 30 days of confirmation.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile (name, email, authentication record at Clerk).
- Any workspace you own, including: business settings, clients, products, attendance records, payments, balance history.
- Your workspace membership in any workspace you joined as staff.
- All audit/log entries referencing your account.
What is retained, and for how long
- Encrypted database backups: rotated out within 90 days of deletion. Deleted data cannot be selectively removed from a snapshot but expires automatically.
- Anonymized aggregate counts (e.g. "X workspaces created in May 2026") may be retained indefinitely. No personally identifiable information.
- Legal/financial obligations: none currently apply. If required by law in the future (e.g. tax records), only the minimum required will be retained, with the legal basis disclosed.
Workspaces with other members
If you are the owner of a workspace with other staff members, deletion of your account also deletes the workspace and removes all members. Transfer ownership before deletion if you wish to preserve the workspace. Email us to assist with ownership transfer.
